- From what age can children join the ski courses at Ski School Kirchberg?
Children can join our Bambini programme from the age of 3. It is specially designed for children aged 3 to 5 and includes 2 hours of instruction per day. From the age of 4, children can also join our Kids Club, with 4 hours of ski instruction per day. Both programmes take place in the Snowi Kids’ Area with child-friendly lifts, or in the KitzSki area depending on the child’s ability.
- What ski courses are available for adults and how long do they last?
Adults can choose between group courses and private lessons. Group courses are available as 1-, 2-, 3- or 4-day courses, with 4 hours of instruction per day. The 4-day course starts on Sundays only. Private lessons can be arranged individually in terms of duration and time – from 2 to 5 hours, either in the morning or afternoon.
- How much does private ski instruction at Ski School Kirchberg cost?
Private lessons start at €235 for 2 hours in the morning and go up to €395 for 5 hours. Afternoon lessons start at €220 for 2 hours. Each additional person joining a private lesson costs €40 extra.
- Does Ski School Kirchberg also offer snowboard lessons?
Yes. Our Snowboard Academy offers courses from Class 4 for beginners learning the basics through to Class 1 for advanced riders working on piste tricks and deep-snow skills. Our certified snowboard instructors teach according to the latest ÖSSV guidelines. Every Friday morning, we also offer a 2-hour Snowboard Tryout for anyone who wants to give it a first try.
- Can I also book private snowboard lessons at Ski School Kirchberg?
Yes. Private snowboard lessons are available on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, subject to instructor availability. For an additional charge compared with the group course price, you can book a private snowboard instructor. For more information and bookings, please contact the ski school directly.
- Does Ski School Kirchberg offer programmes for winter sports enthusiasts with disabilities?

- How does group placement work for children and adults?
Children’s ski courses and adult group courses are assigned every Sunday and Monday at 9:00 am at the meeting point at the Schatzerlift valley station. Beginners in adult courses can also start on Thursdays and Fridays upon request. Lessons take place daily from 9:30–11:30 am and 1:00–3:00 pm.
- What awards and qualifications does Ski School Kirchberg have?
Ski School Kirchberg has been awarded the Quality Award by the Tyrolean State Ski Instructors Association. All ski instructors are certified snow sports instructors, while our snowboard instructors are trained according to the latest ÖSSV guidelines. The ski school was founded in 1925 and looks back on 100 years of experience in ski instruction.
